About Reading4Normal

The Reading4Normal Book Club is a reading scheme funded by The British Academy and The Southlands Methodist Trust. We are working with schools to bring together young readers from different places around the UK to discuss contemporary British YA fiction in a programme of online reading groups. These groups provide the structure, space, and stimulus for teenagers to reflect on their own lives and connect with others in a facilitated online environment. Reading4Normal is not a literacy programme: it is aimed at keen readers and is designed to offer them a temporary community and new ways to connect with each other and share experiences.
